We’re proud of what makes us different and we strive to put our customers at the heart of everything we do. With the death of Possum Bourne, the team was back to two cars for the 2003 season. With uncompromising terrain, wildly fluctuating conditions, and constant demands on the cars, it’s one of the most challenging sports in the world and a perfect testing ground for Subaru.
We won the World Rally Championship Manufacturers’ title three times, and the driver’s title three times as well. Subaru is proud to be the official vehicle supplier for the world multi sport championship, the Kathmandu Coast to Coast 2017. Auckland based rally driver Ben Hunt convincingly won the 2015 New Zealand Rally Championship in his older model Subaru. Subaru’s involvement with Ruapehu Alpine Lifts Limited RAL , which runs the two commercial ski fields on Mt Ruapehu dates back nearly 20 years!.
