Considerable months of planning and preparation resulted in a thriving operation between Alpine Energy and NETcon. Over 20 staff from NETcon’s distribution and technical teams were involved in this project. The substation has been equipped with connection points for a mobile substation.
A team from NETcon’s Technical Services Department, made up of technicians, electrical fitters and line mechanics, were based in Tekapo for two days monitoring the generators 24 7 and making safe there was a constant supply of power
