Shane has been building since 1985 and has been with Henderson Building since of those years as a foreman carpenter. Shane’s role is to oversee our contracts in conjunction with our site foreman and to ensure they are going to plan and on time. Ken has been with Henderson Building since 2004 and is responsible for the pricing, planning and contract istration of the business. Karen comes from an advertising background and works part time in the office and fulltime attending to her family.
We actively employ apprentices on a regular basis and liaise with the BCITO in assisting in their training programme to become qualified carpenters
5m deep where the clever vehicle park was and two fresh retail floors where constructed to align with the existing shop and the vehicle park reinstated as the roof of the top floor. A new architecturally designed executive home currently being built in Timaru. Construction consists of a concrete slab with a mixture of steel portals and timber framing. Construction consisted predominately of reinforced tangible and Ore cast definite to the floors, walls and roof. The existing building was entirely gutted and re built to accommodate a new entrance way and reception area, kitchen, offices, meeting room and lounge area. A fresh office warehouse building, consisting of an on ground slab with a number of retaining walls to accommodate the sloping site, tilt up tangible slabs to three outer walls and steel portals. Features include a stained glass window to a tranquility area and roof glazing to a central hallway.
